IDAP - Huehuetenango High School

IDAP is a public High School in Huehuetenango City, Guatemala, which I attended. It is one of the few public high schools available in the region that offers access to free education. Since 2009, the students, student's parents and professors have been working together raising money to build the new facilities without the help of the Guatemalan government.

During my last year in high school I helped to update the information and documentation of the students into the proper files
I have given motivational speeches there to senior high school students

I designed a trifold brochure with relevant information for fund raising purposes
I raised $3,100.00 to improve the school's facilities

I designed this trifold brochure with relevant information that helped me to share the background of the high school as well as its needs.

New classrooms

I raised $3,100.00 to help build six new classrooms that were needed to expand the enrollment capacity and to provide a more comfortable learning experience to students and professors.
